A Look at Charlottesville Public Schools

There are 4,200+ students currently enrolled in CCS. The success of every student inside and outside the classroom is shaped by their personal experiences, culture, economic background, and even learning styles. It’s our job as champions to advocate for systemic changes that ensure public education is inclusive, equitable, and accessible. That means not only celebrating the diversity of our student body but recognizing that we have a responsibility to remove barriers that affect the well-being of children. The educational journey of students depends on how we invest and show up for them.

At Charlottesville United, we are committed to closing the gaps of inequities that disproportionately deny many students a high quality of education.
